Miami Shores, FL (June 26, 2026) – Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami announced a relief fund to support earthquake victims in Venezuela. One hundred percent of all funds received will be directed to providing immediate humanitarian relief and essential resources to the regions of Venezuela affected by the recent earthquakes.

“On behalf of the Archdiocese of Miami, I am praying for the safety and well-being of everyone affected by the earthquakes,” said Archbishop Thomas Wenski. “May God protect the families and communities impacted as they will face enormous challenges in the weeks and months ahead as they recover from the damage caused. I urge our Catholic faithful and all people of good will across South Florida to stand in solidarity with the communities that will be hard hit by this storm and to please be generous in providing assistance.”
